Golden Dawn rescues horses that were abused by Albanian smugglers.
On a 93 degree day, the team for the land of our people continues the hard and tireless work of the Golden Dawn traditional farm/Local Seed Bank. This time, due to the very high temperature, volunteers took extra time to take care of and cool the horses of the estate.
Kitsos, Astrapi (Lightning), and Doli are enjoying good health and vigor after nearly a year of recovery from torture and hellish conditions in the possession of Albanian smugglers last year in Plataea. Golden Dawn activists went to investigate the incident and found the poor horses who were then adopted by parliament member Nikos Mihos and brought to live in his farm in Viotia, Evia.
The untamed spirit of these horses, a metaphor for our people, is on full display now after being shown the care and love these highly perceptive and noble creatures deserve:
