ACLU Demands Loyalty Oaths of Its Employees

Liberal hypocrisy LOL. How do you ask an employee to swear her loyalty to the principles of an organization that is opposed to loyalty oaths?

According to the Village Voice, the ACLU is looking to gut the union contract of its lowest paid workers, including its receptionists, mail clerks, and bookkeepers.

Non-profits and do-gooders are often bad employers, so I wasn’t too surprised to hear this. But I was surprised to hear this:

Managers are also looking to defang the “just cause” provision in union workers’ contracts, the right of a worker to get a fair hearing with an arbitrator if managers are looking to fire her. It demands that employers prove they have a good reason for terminating someone. The ACLU management hopes to narrow the infractions protected by the arbitration process, and to make “disloyalty” a fireable offense without defining what exactly disloyalty means.

    It is fashionable to destroy unions. It’s a bad trend but it occurs Expect rollbacks in benefits, wage, and standard of living.

    It’s fine with me. Everything needs to go. Working conditions need to deteriorate at well. Then people will realize that bandaids will not suffice. We need revolution.

      Yep. The poor take their corn syrup for granted. When they go hungry, the farms won’t go begging Mexicans for help.

      My view is that we should be glad of the collapse, but in any public advocacy we should always take the side of low wage workers even if they aren’t white. The Slave Power is not our friend.

      A big problem we have though are the button mashing faggots, as Firepower calls them. Those kids need serious re-education — they need to feel starvation and have to work to eat.
