Golden Dawn gets warm reception from the Greek Diaspora in Astoria, New York City.

The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Irene here in New York holds a festival every summer with traditional cultural events, games and food.  It was right here in Astoria, that Golden Dawn New York showed up last week and talked with people at the festival.

We spoke with various Greeks and Greek-Americans from all walks of life, young and old, answered questions and handed out our newspapers and flyers. Our only regret from this festival was that we should have brought a lot more newspapers and flyers, because so many people were walking up to us asking for them and giving us kind wishes that the material was gone after about 30 minutes.
