  1. Good! I hope it gets worse.

  2. KO says:

This election is big, big news. If only the FN can avoid backsliding and can demonstrate some governmental competence despite the obstruction of the UMPS and the media.

Immigrant rioting has become a constant in French life. That is why people are voting for the FN. It might suggest to some minds that the Socialists, whose police beat peaceful demonstrators in the Manif pour tous (protesting homosexual marriage) and whose immigrant supporters contest the election by rampaging, are the true Fascists in this picture.

  3. countenance says:

There was an article in Hot Air (and it was some hot air) claiming that the FN gains were an example of “tea party libertarianism” sweeping France.

Aside from the matter of fact incorrectness of that, there’s a common sense hiding in plain sight way to know that isn’t true:

Violent non-whites and white left wing extremists don’t riot over libertarians.

  4. Sam says:

Lets hope National Front due to its win doesn’t fall for the ploy of becoming “respectable”.

    • mindweapon says:

The French NF is soemwhwat compromised already, but it’s a step in the right direction. The nationalists in France should use the party to build an infrastructure for a more radical party, then break off from the NF when they are strong enough.

  5. wobbly says:

We’ll visibly know when the tipping point has been reached when it’s hard to spot masses of sheltered white middle class kids at those demonstrations – only invaders and Jews.

  6. So the gibmedats are showing their, ahem, true colors. Good. Maybe it’ll wake a few more French people up to the realities of their situation, while their country is still solvent.
